ALEJANDRA GANDÍA BLASCO

When I think of objects I remember Proust’s madeleine in In Search of Lost Time, endearing objects that provoke emotions and recall forgotten memories, those rescued from the collective imagination and from my own memory.
It is important to know how to surround ourselves with these objects in our day to day life and understand that the concept of luxury, in addition to the nobility of the materials and their forms, is found in the way in which they provoke emotions that connect us with our essence as human beings. Bringing them to the present, reimagined, is a gesture of honesty and critical capacity. Manufacturing them well and with respect for the environment is a debt to humanity.
